September is usually best time for Minke Whale watching on the Yellow boats at Whitby UK (I go every year) , I was excited to hear a Humpback had been spotted near Robbin hoods bay . Unfortunately the trips was cancelled the week we was there because of bad weather . I was going to book a few more days in but had the terrible news the Humpback had been spotted dead , looks like it had been caught up in crab pots line .

Nice set, does that cormorant represent the coloring there? In Colorado the area around the bill is more vibrant for mature cormorants although closer with immature cormorants.
