Was lucky to be able to get these from shore. The two shots of the adult were taken with the Z8, and 70-200mm at 200, and in DX mode. The 10 wk old chick was using the Z9 and 800mm PF. Thre is a narrow straight between two ponds, but they almost always go through underwater. Can actually look down and see them shoot through underwater like a submarine. This time the parent swam through above water just once. I had my Z8 with the 70-200mm mounted just in case that happened.
