First outing with the 600mm PF

Since I was coming from the D500 and 500mm PF, I was hoping to get to 800mm with my Z8 and Z9. So when Nikon brought out the 800mm PF, I bought one, even though it was considerably heavier than my 500mm PF (who said going mirrorless would be lighter?). I was surprised when Nikon brought out the 600mm PF f.6.3 and resisted buying it for awhile though found my 800mm to heavy for most of my hikes and would just use the 400mm f/4.5 plus the 1.4TC. However I finally broke down and bought the 600mm PF and got it yesterday so have just taken it out once. Was quite impressed:
