After using the Plena extensively for portraits, and being very satisfied with it, I was eager to se how useful it is with animals. First steps are very encouraging! I really like its field of depth, and the richness in details is amazing. Here just two shots, please don't judge the composition, they are just to show the lens's output.

Nicely done. The first shot truly does reveal all that is wonderful about the Plena -- that separation, transition and bokey.... As if shot with artifical light in the studio! Beautiful. It did a fine job with the action shot, as well.
