Fishing with a Cormorant

This image demonstrates the role luck plays in wildlife photography. I was focusing on the heron when the water suddenly erupted revealing a cormorant with a large fish in its mouth. Prior to the cormorant surfacing, no cormorants were visible in the lagoon.

Thanks, Lisa! Luck and timing play a large role, but the frequency of awesome shots is primarily related to the prevalence of wildlife where you are shooting.
