There have been a few more Flamingo sightings in parts of Florida this year than in the past. This one on the east coast yesterday didn't seem interested in a Spoonbill that seemed to want to strike up a conversation. Photo taken from my kayak, nine minutes after hazy sunrise, more than a hundred feet away from the birds. (The keeper rate really drops in these conditions. ;))

Beautiful image! You're lucky to have captured two of Florida's most beautiful birds side by side. I haven't seen that before. It's hard to say which is most beautiful.
 
This is so great. I love the soft, pastel colors, the matching pink on different species, and the fact they are both facing the same direction. You have a real winner here.
