Flash Bracket recommendations for Gimbal

Folks,
I just ordered a Pro Media Gear Katana Jr. Gimbal head (https://promediagear.com/collections/gimbal-heads/products/gkjr-katana-pro-gimbal-tripod-head). This is replacing a Movo gimbal head that I used until now. I will be using the new Gimbal with Nikon 600mm f/4E and 200-400mm lenses mounted on a D500 body for bird photography.
I am looking for a recommendation for flash bracket to attach to the Gimbal head. I am tempted by the Pro Media gear GF2 (https://promediagear.com/products/gf2-gimbal-head-flash-doubler?_pos=17&_sid=7bb59908f&_ss=r). Does anyone have any experience with this? Does the bracket provide enough separation from the lens plane to prevent steely eyes?
Thank you!

I have used the Wimberley flash bracket that is modular so can be customized for the desired setup. I prefer to mount the lens foot on a long base plate as this provides more room for mounting a flash bracket on the foot plate.

Here is a photo of ti to a Wimberly gimbal. Good separation.

get yourself a splitter for that battery pack. cuts the cycle time in half. Most people dont realize those ports are 2 separate batteries and using a wye doubles the current. Ive actually used two packs with wyes... into another wye, then into the flash. It works and cycle time is almost instant.... until the flash overheats lol
