Here are a few garden shots from 2021 that include a flower or plant/bud and an insect. All were shot with a Nikon Z6 using the Z 70-200mm f/2.8S with a Canon 500D Closeup lens.
All processed in LrC. One shot is uncropped (24mp) and the others are full height square crops (16mp). The first four are at home, while the fifth is at the Morris Arboretum in Philadelphia.

This year I will have 4 good lenses for closeup/macro work including the Z-mount MC 50mm f/2.8, MC 105mm f/2.8 for my Z6 and the Micro Nikkor f/2.8 105mm plus the oldie but goodie Nikkor 70-180mm f/4.5-5.6 zoom micro. I can also consider the Z 70-200 f/2.8 with or without TC and the Canon 500D closeup lens for added zoom range. Looking forward to this time.

Also planning to visit the Chicago Botanic Garden Orchid show at least once in the next week or two. They have photographers mornings on Tuesday, with a reservation. Momopods and tripods allowed then.
