I continue my Focus Shift practice with the Nikon Z6, 70-200 f/2.8S with the Canon 500D. Processed in a combination of LrC with Helicon Focus and PS for polishing.

As the saying goes, Practice makes perfect! Nice shots!
I am getting better at shot seection and framing. That is always important but seems a bit more so when stacking. Also see that finishing work is important in LrC and/or PS to clean up a few things In the background and better enhance your main subject. The learnings will carry over into all of my work.

Again kudos to Steve for his class on Focus Shift. It was worthwhile and at a bargain price!

Joe, This set out does your prior works and they all have been great to date.
Thank you for the supportive thoughts. It really does come down to practic, practice, practice. This includes knowing thecamera and lens better, figuring out the best point of view for a given subject, getting the right settings for the sequence of shots and then properly managing things through Helicon Focus, LrC and PS. As I heard in a training class from Vincent Versace, you need to know where you are going before you take the first shot. Begin with the end in mind!
