Fairly new member looking for feedback on processing. Sony A1, 200-600, 600 mm, 6.3, 1/2000, ISO 500. Processed in LR. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Not really sure what else you could do with this. For my personal taste I might darken it up a little, or else mask the background to play with it a little, or maybe a very very slight vignette, but if you feel compelled to follow my personal taste I would suggest you should seek professional help. Other than that, excellent!

Nice shot. As to Woody's suggestions. It's a bit 'hot' which could be tamed by Woody's direction -- but all personal taste. Love the moment you caught.

Thank you. I appreciate you taking a look and the comments. Nice to have another set of eyes to get suggestion.

Very nice image. On the image side, the only improvement would be to try and get lower next time if conditions allow. As for processing, I'm a big fan of applying a slight vignette to burn the corners a little. Helps keep the eye in the frame.

Thank you Ron. I think I tend to be too conservative when making adjustments. I appreciate taking the time to make suggestions. Thank you.

Lovely sighting, nice image. We all have a feel for what we want and do. See below.
I took a screen print into PS, Curves and pulled the whole imaged darker; inverted mask and painted out bright whites.
Did the same for the reds, tuned it down a bit.
brightened the teeth, eyes and noses.
Darkened the whole image and then painted out across the subjects to bring the light back.
You could also blur the bg a bit from the elbows of the foxies up.
As I said, we all have our own approach to what appeals to us. I like subdued whites, contrast between the subject and the environment. Please delete if out of place.

I think Callie did a nice job with the adjustments, but my taste is a lower level of vignetting. I like a vignette, but not to the level where you can obviously see it. If you see a vignette it is too strong.

I would also darken the background a little more to try to get the subject to pop. If you just decrease brightness across the frame, the image becomes a little flat. I prefer darker midtones in the foxes to bring out the red color.

Thanks for looking and for your advice. Nice to hear from those far more experienced.

I think it is a great shot. If it were my shot, I might crop it a little tighter to put more emphasis on the Fox kits and avoid some of the grass, even if it meant doing a non-conventional crop. Ken
