I wanted to photograph this castle with the autumn sun on it. I saw it a week or so ago and envisaged the pic. but the autumn leaf colours hadn't yet developed. The sun was out yesterday afternoon so I revisited. Sadly the colours of autumn don't seem to quite as snappy as the colours of the fall!
I have a horrible feeling that by the time we get some decent colours that sun will be setting before it reaches the castle walls.
Nevertheless, here's a snap for you.
