oh! this is my favorite bird! Looks like a lady from Vienna 1920s ... and that pose she is just before entering the koffee-house (but probably it is "he", yes?)
We don't have them in Europe as far as I know.

Thank you. You're right it's a "he" and he is doing guard duty while his honey eats seeds off the ground. US has quite a few quail species, including the Montezuma Quail which is drop dead gorgeous. They come in my yard occasionally, will post a picture of a pair at my water feature when I find it.
