About 6 km from my home is a landfill site. Lots of birds around feasting on kitchen scraps there. That also draws rodents and the Red-tailed hawks are well aware of it. They are always on the hunt there.

Unfortunately I cannot get near enough to film the action so I have to make do from the nearest roadside position where I can park. Sometimes I get lucky and the hawks soar overhead. Today was such a case. Very windy but the wind helped disperse the cloud cover.
