Places loike the Chicago Botanic Garden and the Morris Arboretum can be amazing places to use Infrared topresent the greenery.
These shots are from the Chicago Botanic Garden. Shot with my 590nm converted Nikon D600 and processed through LR. Nik Silver Efex and a bit of PS.
One shot processed with a bluish tint, the other in greys. Shots from morris to follow in a future post.

Nice to see some IR work here! Nice compositions and processing.
Thank you for the encouragement. I have learned some new processing approaches so am revisiting older shots to see if they can be improved. Have shots from Painted Desert/Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Morris Arboretum, Chicago Botanic Gardens and more that I am reviewing..

Nice shots. Black and white infrared can be fun. I had an infrared modified body for a while but finally sold it. Before that when I was using film I did a few rolls of Kodak HIE.

I've been wanting to convert one of my cameras to infrared, but then saw infrared lens filters. Have you tried them before converting, or straight up jumped to conversion right away?

I went straight to conversion. If you use external filters you still lose most of the IR wavelengths going through the glass on the sensor. With a conversion they remove that filter so you can shoot much faster shutter speeds. If you go to https://www.lifepixel.com/ they provide a full explanation of the options so you can pick what will work for you.
