These guys love to dive in to the water after bashing and swallowing a fish, probably to get rid of the bits of scales and fish.

Yes, there is a nice hide with a large water body in front of it. There was a lot of kingfisher activity in July and start of August. A clod spell killed off all the fish so currently it is dead. But when there is fish in summer, we get sometimes six different kingfisher species here.
Yes, the D500 has to keep till the long sleep. No Z body on the horizon for me.
