Took these photos of a Golden Eagle on a deer roadkill a few years back. It was outside Yellowstone NP on the north end in Paradise Valley. Time of year was late Jan./early Feb. Beautiful time of year to visit but lots of snow.

Thanks Highbow. He was indeed close. I was shooting from my vehicle and had trouble keeping the eagle and deer in the viewfinder without clipping part of the eagle.
