Great capture (cormorant and photographer). A tighter crop and a bit more contrast may help.

Could be. I was 200 yards away with a 566mm lens. Not sure if it was same fish?

Thanks, I was just wondering how the cormorant dealt with the huge fish in the first photo. It looks rather large to swallow whole.

Thanks. May be a smaller fish, but still a big swallow.
I have a photo of a gull trying to swallow a giant purple starfish. He has it stuck in his mouth and it looks like a giant purple beard. I am going to dig it out.
