Got my Z8....now I have a question.

Evening

Ive been playing with the new Z8 and gotta say - 30 FPS is damn fast (Im not used to that fast).

So - please pardon my ignorance and my apology for a basic fundamental question but....

If Im taking a picture of a bird in flight at 1/2000 of second - does that mean that at 30fps - each frame will still be 1/2000 of a second? Im sorry if Im not explaining...

Yes. Each frame will be shot at the shutter speed you set the camera to.
On the Z8 you get 20 frames per second with RAW/.NEF capture and 30 Frames per second & above in Jpg format

Congratulations on the Z8! I really enjoy mine. Taking advantage of 30fps is something that I have to make myself do. You would think that I was back in the film days. 😂
