Gray-Headed Bushshrike (Malaconotus blanchoti) near Kruger Park, South Africa. It's also called Phantom Bird (Spookvoël) in Afrikaans because of its haunting whistle. Often heard in the bush, seldom seen.

Nikon D7500 with Nikkor 200-500mm F5.6.

Thanks. Africa has the most amazing variety of so many types of animals, including birds. Over the next little while I’ll be posting some images of some of the birds and animals.
