Great Blue Flyby

While I was busy photographing a Yellow-crowned Night Heron at Oklahoma City's Hefner Lake, this Great Blue Heron decided to fly right in front of me. Blue Herons are pretty common here and I usually don't photograph them, but the flyby was irresistible and my Canon R6 was up to the task.

I'm the same way with GBH's and Pelicans. Something about their "prehistoric" character.
