I took this sequence of photos of a Great Blue Heron catching a fish, back in January of this year. I was fortunate to be in the right place at the right time. I am mostly happy with the photos, but if I could go back I would probably underexpose a little bit, since it was in bright sunlight. I didn't have time to make that decision in the moment, and therefore had to pull down the bright areas in Lightroom. (the last image is my favorite)

I really like the final image, it sort of tells the whole story and is a nice composition with the bright fish and the reflection. Great stuff!

I spend hours and hours watching GBH and love taking sequence shots like this. I'd crop some off of the left side of these shots if they were mine, and maybe lower the highlights just a tad. Off course this is nit-picking. I love these shots. Nice job.
