The fog was just burning off this morning when I found this Great Blue Heron. I really like them in something other than front light and was happy with this one.

Yes, though they are very common in my area, there is just something about them. In the right light they can be a great subject to capture. With the neck retracted like in this image, they remind me of a grumpy old Hunchback. Great shot.
