The value of a sequence of shots in a burst: though a number of the images here were acceptable, this was the only one where the eye reflected in the rippling water was also fairly clear. 20 mins after sunset. D6, 500mm PF, 1/640, f5.6, ISO 1800

THAT is a keeper. The bokeh and colour on the water (while also getting the eye so nicely captured) is beyond great, in addition to the sharpness and beauty of the main attraction/subject itself! Love it!

Thanks so much, Steven. Yeah, that colour reflected off the water was a treat. Just went for a walk near sunset this past Saturday with the camera slung on my shoulder and this GBH was thoughtful enough to be in just the right spot.
