I spent a weekend at Caddo Lake recently to photograph the fall colors in the swamp. I was shooting wide angle for the landscape with my Z9, but fortunately I brought my OM-1 in case we saw any wildlife, and sure enough there were many ibis, egrets and great blue herons. These are three of my favorite blue heron photos - in order of personal preference. Curious what others think though.

The colors and details of the moss are nice in the first one. But the second one is my favorite as it provides the best view of the environment. IMO the last one would have been better composed with the tree/bird farther left in the frame.
