Great Egret sunfish snack

This Great Egret spent the entire morning yesterday stalking the shallows of a local pond. He had several successful attempts, and I was fortunate to get some clicks during the process. This one was my favorite.

Very nice shot. I like the 'well, darn!' expression on the fish's face

Love the shot with the neck forming a S curve. Perfect exposure for the bird and the water. Definitely a keeper.
