Thanks Dan. The M43 lenses tend to do that unless the background is well separated from the subject. My 150-400mm 4.5 (300-800 ffe) has a DOF more like f8 full frame. M43 has limitations but also great advantage in weight and reach.

Thanks. Probably a little less likely in the summer months. They're mostly nocturnal so you have to be searching pre-dawn or just before sunset. Also their habitat here is in the foothills of the Rockies rather than in the mountains themselves.
