Hi Steve.
My first post must be to you. Why? I’ve leaned so so much thanks to you; your books and this Forum and it’s dedicated members so willing to mentor others with fact based knowledge and imbedded web links. I found your site January 1, 2021. I’ll explain in follow up posts as to why my web search, but in short It was exactly what I was looking for, a goldmine of Nikon How To. A D800 Manual gives the ‘what’ not the ‘how’, thus websites like this are so important.
Cost of Admission....a gift! Your books, which I’ve now read them all over the past six weeks of forced COVID staycation, my Forum Membership which I activated today, and lastly the LrC Library tutorial which I’m now enrolled. Heck, I spend more on a bottle of wine or my sipping rum than my investment here. So as I say a gift.

The unique thing about this site is that it is curated by someone knowledgable and willing and able to put in the effort to communicate technical matters in an understandable way. Makes it more like a club than a forum.

The other thing is that people here are nice...as well as helpful...as opposed to tht other forum I’m on named after the prickly little ode to.

Agree, but it makes all the difference to have someone there to give a friendly reminder in the rare event that somebody with an axe to grind starts up.
