Green Heron (Butorides Virescens)
My first image post here...I have recently picked up the Nikon Z 8 and several lenses. Having a great time with the new kit. Here's a Green Heron at a local wetlands area. They have recently arrived and are still a bit skittish around people. This one was in the bushes near water when I came by and then flew up to the stump.
