A female Grey Butcherbird has been a frequent visitor to the yard for a couple of months now, the chicks have fledged but she is always on the hunt for food.
Occasionally the provision of a few meal worms for the birds attracts various species but this bird is so keenly adjusted she seems to be able to smell them as soon as they are put out as she turns up within a few minutes to help herself to most of them then transports the rest to the fledgling of choice.
A couple of visits recently.
