When were these taken?

Thanks for your interest. Tok these images this past Saturday afternoon, October 23. I just checked my Lightroom files; my first image of this species was October 3, 2017; they seem to be here every year about this time. There were two in the garden at the same time; they took off together and did some courtship flying as the disappear, flying together down the street. About a half an hour later, the one in the picture was back - I’m pretty sure she’s the female. Beautiful critters, aren’t they?
