Thank you! It was serendipitous, actually. I'd just stepped outside, bundled up and determined to hunker down for as long as it took to get a picture of a songbird with that spectacular backdrop, when this crow swooped in. Did not have to twist my arm one bit.

Nice sharpness. Like the bokeh - we can see a season appropriate background, but w/o it distracting from the bird. In fact, if it was a plainer background or of too much bokeh, I think the objects would be more evenly divided between foreground and background, yielding a less satisfying picture. Only thing I might do, and this by far is not a criticism of a good photo, is something with the bird's eye. In Photoshop™ I might consider giving it a little sheen, a little more direct line at the viewer or both. Presently through no fault of yours or the bird, seems a bit artificial and we know its not. Keep up the good work!
