A 3 yr old male Leopard has just brought down a young Zebra and about to hoist it's hard fought meal up a beautiful Rock Fig tree.

Stunning! I think the fact that it’s a prey item not seen hoisted often (for me at least) makes it more special. Plus the contrast with the stripes and rosettes. Great set :)
 
That's an impressive kill for a single leopard. Zebras are fierce and protective. Shot with a 70-200, even more impressive!

Certainly the mother of this young foal would have fought hard to protect it, had it stayed close to her, however we believe this young one may have been sleeping
as they often do during the day and then ambushed, we can't be certain of course and we were the only vehicle around for many days.
