Excellent perspective
Thanks, Gavin. With the flip out screen I was able to lay the lens right down on the tube of the inflatable. And subject detection has no problem finding those big eyes.Lovely low level shot Dan.
I also like the Seal's eyes.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Ralph.Excellent perspective
Thanks, Greg. Yes shooting from the kayak helps a lot.Great shot, it's tough to get an image like that from that low of a perspective. When I was in Seward last August there was one day where the tide was incredibly high, that coupled with the insane amount of rain that fell the prior day caused the rivers to be much much higher than normal. I stood on a narrow bridge that crossed over Tonsina Creek and watched harbor seals hunting salmon in the river directly under me. I never knew they would enter the creek to feed on salmon, but it makes sense. It's probably much easier to chase salmon down in the confinement of the creek than it is in open water. I didn't manage to get any decent shots, but it was a great experience.
Thanks for commenting. Yeah he's not looking to pleased with me.Love the connection between the seal and the photographer.
Thanks, Chris.Dan,
