just wanted to add that there was a long series of shots of the bobcat and wolf interaction, but at no time did the cat seem anything but in control.the wolf on the other hand was upset and left asap.

I am surprised too if it's a wolf not a coyote. Where was this taken? Both of them look well fed or have nice winter coats.
we have coyote also, they're not as tall, and have much more of a point to their nose.we've learned to judge their size by the surrounding branches and trees.we live in northern Minnesota.
