Nice Goshawk. I love the way it is framed and the action, great shot. Just a touch of processing would really make it pop. Sometimes a little touch of vignette placed in the right spot works also.
The one thing I want to do is snip off that sprig of pine just before it covers his foot.....lol Looks great though (y)

Love these birds, had a tiny play, brighten / contrast / colour a fraction, delete if you wish,
It's definitely a beauty, love the intensity in that expression.

I went a bit far with this just to demonstrate but this is just a simple S curve and then a bit of vignette. So two easy steps that you can do in LR or PS to add contrast and contain the background a bit.

How did you have the opportunity to take such a picture of this fierce species of hawk in the wild? Really impressive with improvements and such beautiful background!

@Ron05 I hope you don't mind, I have used Google Translate on your messages. There are probably members here who aren't aware of or don't know how to translate with Google but would be interested in knowing what you have said..

Thanks for all the comments, here is an update!

ik heb deze foto gemaakt met een 500 mm, en vele uren wachten in een bos waar drie broedparen zijn.Verder probeer ik te letten op een schone achtergrond .

I took this photo with a 500 mm, and waited many hours in a forest where there are three breeding pairs, and I try to pay attention to a clean background.

@Steve Does this Forum software have a built in translator?

Zeer mooie foto van een mooie havik

@Steve No worries mate, thanks for trying. Having lived in other countries, I know the frustrations of language difficulties so just wanted to help out if it was possible.
