My son came down to the basement while I was getting some bird shots this afternoon. I turned to speak to him for a second, then heard a commotion. Looked back out quickly to see that a Cooper's Hawk had taken a Mourning Dove. Survival of the fittest. I saw him hanging around yesterday afternoon, sitting on top of the bird house, but it flew before I got down with the camera. I had decided to exercise my "old stuff", D500/Tammy 150-6o0(G1).
