Yes ours also generally have a stronger orange and yellow head and neck. Although you can see examples with lesser colouring, wether this is a mature thing or not I do not know. I have attached a typical shot of a Northern Gannet collecting nesting material on the cliff tops. We also have quite a few gannets with solid black eyes, apparently these are the birds that have had bird flu and survived. Thanks for the comment.Beaut mugshot, Andy.
