We were out for a long ride last weekend looking for birds and late season apple shopping. The birds were not particularly cooperative and the midday light was not great, though I got a few bland shots. On our drive home, the sun was setting out the passenger side window where I sit. I saw this sunset, grabbed my camera and ripped off several shots. This one worked. This was taken through the car passenger side door window at 70 mph/113kph.
The halo around the sun is in the original raw file, though I am not sure if it is "real" or an artifact from the car window itself. Processed in LrC with strong denoise help. Photo is uncropped.
