Here's a late evening shot of two Bald Eagles at their nest. I watched for a while as the male flew off and returned several times. I was wondering what he was up to and when I got home and got to take a better look on the computer, I saw he was doing some repairs for his family home. And he is being inspected by the Queen of the house as he diligently shows his next effort. This was shot a low sun and I had to reduce shutter speed to 1/200, f8, ISO 250 and still had to do some post processing to pull out the shadows. It was well worth it with him spotlighted by the framing of the tree trunks and her supervising the effort.
