It's called luck. I didn't show the half bee, part bee, out-of-focus bees in the hundreds. Only the lucky shot.Craig, nicely done, and much more difficult with the short lens than a tele. Love the fact that the wings are visible - my images often have it as a complete blank.

Not luck. When you are dealing with moving insects, shallow depth of field ..... most of the shots just won't be any good. But a few like this one will be excellent! Patience is rewarded.It's called luck. I didn't show the half bee, part bee, out-of-focus bees in the hundreds. Only the lucky shot.
