Fun shot. Quickfire feedback from my perspective:

  • The out-of-focus foreground is very distracting
  • The whites are blown out
  • In the first shot there’s not really a focal point. The second is better from that perspective
  • I would try to get closer to the water level
  • I would straighten both in Post

Unfortunately, I was shooting over the water foliage; so, I couldn't get a lower angle. However, cropping can remove some of the blur in the foreground. I've also reduced the exposure.

I’m not sure you would get something without doing some serious removal the first one is better than the 2nd one... but that foreground is really tuff to get past.
