Hooded Warbler

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

Going through some Texas photos, may actually have most edited by April when I am back own there :)

Just pixel peeping on this Hooded Warbler; only got a few shots off as he was hopping, and light was pretty rough under trees. Thanks for any feedback.

I've taken tons of photos of these birds. They're not easy! Yes, I agree about the noise reduction and darkening that part of the perch. The pose is interesting. I realize there's not much you can do about that, but the fact its body is facing away but the eye is looking back makes it work.

beautiful capture - your processing let you down in my opinion.
Like BAL Land said - it's oversharpened and the bg is patchy - one can see where you did work.
But that is so easy to fix - you started with a good capture - it's just a question of fine tuning the retouching.
