Thanks Karen...coming from you I'm surprised that you say you are jealous, given the quality of photos that you take. eg your recent Africa trip - I would give one of my kidneys to get images on par with what you posted from that trip.

I like it a lot because it's a BIF of a pretty bird that came out sharp, yet I love how the left wing feathers are not in focus, which suggests movement. It's a great combination of frozen movement, but still showing movement- VERY NICE.

I'm going to give that shuter speed a go, and see if that helps me out.
