This was fun. Got up at 3am. Drove to RMNP. Spent 2 hrs watching 100 plus elk 300 yds out. Then we started walking around. Saw this guy standing, then all of a sudden he walked into the creek and just plopped himself down. Spent a good 20 min with him. Then saw another bull and cow and watched them for hours. And yes, I got in the creek for some shots as well. Much cooler in the creek!
