How to get the time I took a photo from D500 menu in the field?

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

I take a photo with my Nikon D500, and then later I want to see the time I took it by looking somewhere on the camera LCD, before I get home and transfer it to Lightroom , where I can see the exif data. I can't seem to do that. Is there a way? Thanks in advance for any answers.

The shooting time and date appear on my D500 images on the rear panel LCD regardless of what image review settings I have set up in the image review menu. Have you tried scrolling up or down with the rear panel multi-selector? When I do that I scroll through different image review options (e.g. highlight blinkies, RGB histogram, detailed shooting data) but when scrolled to the primary image review I see the date and time of capture below the image on the left.
