How to take low angle photos from a car?

From the lighter side I could say, let some air out of the tires. Maybe shoot from underneath if it's a high clearance vehicle.

But on the more serious side if you have a van type vehicle you could make some clearance inside, and shoot from floor level using one of those Pod's I see people with. Either out the back of from the side door. I shoot from inside a vehicle, and have never thought about your question. Now you have me thinking. I shoot from a crew cab pickup truck, I could raise the seats in the back & lay down shooting from the open door, or lay in the pickup bed, and shoot out the back with the tail gate down. I will be interested in hearing what idea's other people come up with.

Well, now you did it. Here I am with my morning coffee, Late morning that is. Thinking about this issue. Under the right conditions you could move the camera out of the vehicle, and use a remote program. That would require the subject to always be in a certain location as you would not be able to track it. Not sure what programs are available, but I know there are several around. Watching, adjusting, and triggering your shutter from on a phone, or tablet while sitting in the vehicle observing the subject. Thats an idea I may explore a bit more this coming spring.

Add consideration for heat rising from beneath the vehicle. Wind from subject to vehicle is ideal. Otherwise, lowering camera places it closer to heat source and the refractive blur it causes.
