Thanks, Rassie! Yes, the heron was laughing uncontrollably! But in reality, I don't know why he was behaving in this manner. Speculation includes:
1. Something he ate was irritating his throat.
2. Stomach gas or perhaps dyspepsia.
3. The heron was yawning.
Creative explanations are welcome!

The heron had been prowling around looking for something to eat prior to exhibiting this behavior. I was hoping he would catch a fish, which would have made for an interesting image.
