Spring in the midwestern part of the USA is slow to come but there are signs around that winter is loosening its grip. These are all non-native flowers that have gone wild in our area but they are among the first to bloom here bringing a much appreciated splash of color. The yellow one is Winter Aconite. The pink and white one is Hellebore, and the white one is Snow Drop (not sure if it goes by other names or not).
