Not sure if this is considered photography and hence of interest to anyone here. But I'll give it a go. Apart from wildlife/nature photography, astronomy is my other big passion.

What you're looking at is a widefield shot of IC5146, an emission/reflection nebula in the Cygnus constellation, around 4000 light years from earth.

Image acquisition details:

45x120" Luminance

45x120" Green
45x120" Blue

I actually do have a spot in my house where I always keep a framed larger (A2) print of one of my astro photos (it gets changed out every so often).

I display my best (or well, in my eyes at least) work on my webpage. My Flickr page is a more day to day images thing. I'll leave the links below if you want to have a peek.
