Thanks. It was a very pretty horse. I should note the post-processing -- LR, including denoise and I also used the lens blur feature.

He should look healthy. They take very good care of their horses in Iceland:

Lovely image of cool looking horse. I was there one year during their horse show. They have good reason to take good care of them - the breed is over 1000 years old.

Icelandic horses are traditionally kept in big herds while growing up. All over the world, most Icelandic horses are kept outside or in open stables their whole life all year round, and only the riding horses in Iceland are usually in stables over the winter.
As you drive around, you really do seem them everywhere. Not as many horses as sheep, but lots of them.
